Bower Elite Hub ("we," "us," "our," or "the Company") operates a premium leisure, hospitality, sports and events platform, including the website through which you browse facilities, make bookings, create an account, and make payments (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have over it.
By creating an account, making a booking, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you give us directly

- Booking information: the facility, date, time slot(s), and, where relevant, the number of guests for any booking you make.
- Contact and identification details: your phone number, and for certain bookings made on your behalf by our staff, your name and phone number as provided at the point of booking.
- Payment information: when you pay for a booking, your payment is processed directly by our third-party payment providers (see Section 4 below). We do not receive or store your full card number, CVV, or banking PIN. We may retain a record of the transaction reference, amount, and payment status.
- Communications: information you provide when you contact us through our contact form, email, or phone, including the content of your message.
- Reviews and feedback: any review, rating, or comment you submit about a facility you have booked.

1.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages you visit, links you click, the time and duration of your visits, and general interactions with the Service.
- Device and connection data: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, and referring website.
- Cookies and similar technologies: we use session cookies to keep you logged in, remember items in your cart, and maintain the security of your session. See Section 6 (Cookies) below.
- Security and anti-fraud data: we use bot-detection and verification tools (such as Cloudflare Turnstile) on certain forms to protect the Service from automated abuse. This may involve processing limited technical data about your browser/device to confirm you are not a bot.
1.3 Information we generate
- Booking order reference and check-in codes: each booking is assigned a unique order reference and, for each item booked, a unique alphanumeric check-in code used by our staff to verify your booking on arrival.
- Account activity logs: login times, IP address, device/browser information, and number of failed login attempts, kept for account-security purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- create and manage your account, and verify your email address;
- process and manage your bookings, including availability checks, confirmations, check-in, and cancellations;
- process payments through our third-party payment partners and issue receipts;
- communicate with you about your bookings, account, or enquiries, including sending booking confirmations, check-in codes, and receipts;
- respond to customer support requests submitted through our contact form;
- send you marketing communications, such as newsletters or promotions, where you have subscribed to receive them (you may unsubscribe at any time);
- display your name (or the name you choose to be shown) alongside reviews you submit, with your rating and comment, to help other customers make informed decisions;
- detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, spam, and security incidents;
- maintain the security, integrity, and proper functioning of the Service;
- comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, including tax and financial record-keeping requirements; and
- improve and develop the Service, including understanding how customers use our facilities and website.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
Where applicable data protection law requires it (including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and its regulations), we process your personal data on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract: to create your account, process your bookings, and provide the Service you have requested.
- Consent: for marketing communications (such as our newsletter) and for certain cookies, where you have given your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
- Legitimate interests: to keep the Service secure, prevent fraud, improve our offering, and communicate operationally with you, provided this does not override your fundamental rights and freedoms.
- Legal obligation: where we are required to retain or disclose information to comply with applicable law, such as tax, accounting, or law-enforcement requirements.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Payment processors: to complete a payment, your relevant payment details are sent directly to and processed by our licensed payment partners (which may include Paystack, Flutterwave, Interswitch, and/or Stripe, depending on the payment method you choose). These providers have their own privacy policies governing how they handle your payment data, and we encourage you to review them.
- Service providers: we engage trusted third parties to help us operate the Service, such as hosting providers, email-delivery services, and bot/spam-protection providers (e.g. Cloudflare). These providers only access the information necessary to perform their function and are contractually required to protect it.
- Our staff: authorised staff members can view booking details (including your name, phone number, and check-in code) as necessary to manage facility bookings and check you in on arrival.
- Legal and safety reasons: we may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Bower Elite, our customers, or the public.
- Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same protections described in this Policy (or a policy at least as protective).
We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes without your consent.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- keep you signed in and maintain your session as you browse and book;
- remember items you have added to your cart;
- protect the Service against fraud and abuse; and
- understand, in aggregate, how the Service is used, so we can improve it.
Most browsers let you control or disable cookies through their settings. Please note that disabling essential cookies (such as session cookies) may prevent you from logging in or completing a booking.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active, and for a reasonable period afterward to:
- comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations;
- resolve disputes and enforce our agreements; and
- maintain records of bookings and payments for audit and customer-service purposes.
When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete it or anonymise it.
7. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal and legitimate retention needs;
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your information, including marketing;
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent (such as newsletter subscriptions), without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal; and
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format, where technically feasible.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 12 below. We may need to verify your identity before responding to your request.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including secure password storage, access controls, and encrypted transmission of sensitive data where applicable. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18 without appropriate parental or guardian consent, where required for a booking (for example, a facility booked by a parent/guardian on behalf of a minor). If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete that information.
10. International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers (including certain payment processors and hosting infrastructure) may process or store data outside Nigeria. Where this occurs, we take steps to ensure your information continues to receive an appropriate level of protection consistent with applicable data protection law.
11. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (for example, our social media pages). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with your information.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as an email notification). We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
